Cancellations made less than 10 days after authorization use the original exchange rate
This applies to USD authorization and cancellation amounts. Issuer fees, conversion into other billing currencies and industry cancellation charges are separate. Terms from day 10 onward are set by contract.
The price is confirmed before the card
The customer sees the KRW and USD amounts together and chooses the currency.
Under 10 days:
Partial cancellations use the rate at authorization, so amounts are simple to explain.
Merchants stay in KRW
Item prices and settlement are both in KRW. No separate USD account is needed.

ReverseFX is designed to show KRW and USD amounts and let customers choose a currency before presenting their card. This helps customers understand the amount before they decide. The comparison is with a DCC flow that offers currency choice after reading the card; implementations vary by provider and integration. Compare costs using the displayed exchange rate, payment amount and contract terms. Card network classification and applicable requirements are confirmed with the relevant network and partners.
We first assess how to work with your current acquirer, VAN or PG. The starting approach is to add ReverseFX to your existing setup. The integration scope depends on your payment environment and is confirmed during consultation.
Foreign currency payments start with USD. Supported cards and currencies depend on the integration and adoption stage, so we confirm coverage during consultation. If a card is unsupported after the customer selects USD, we explain this and proceed only if the customer chooses KRW again.
ReverseFX shows the USD authorization amount. Your card issuer may charge separate fees, and additional conversion may apply if your card is billed in another currency. Compare the actual terms of your card to assess whether paying in USD costs less than paying in KRW.
SNAP rates are delivered before payment. The selected amount connects authorization, refunds and settlement. Partner integration and pilot operations are in preparation.
