Questions you may have

Can customers choose to pay in Korean won?

Yes. Both KRW and USD amounts are shown, and the customer chooses. Selecting KRW continues as a regular Korean won payment.

Do merchants have to receive settlement in USD?

No. Merchants receive settlement in Korean won and keep their product prices in KRW. Existing card payment fees follow the payment provider agreement. Payment routes and schedules are defined in the contract.

How are cancellations, partial cancellations and refunds handled?

For all merchants, including hotels, cancellations and partial cancellations within nine days of authorization use the original transaction exchange rate. This applies to ReverseFX USD authorization and cancellation amounts. Card issuer fees or conversion into another currency are separate. Industry-specific cancellation charges, such as hotel cancellation fees, also apply separately. Handling after nine days is defined in the agreement.

Partner integration and pilot operations are in preparation. Service scope, rates and settlement schedules will be confirmed through agreements and validation.
